Description

I thought this would just be a bit of fun, I'd climbed a long way at this point and I think the oxygen in my bloodstream was giving out. Mainly because when I look back on it I had positioned the camera on a precarious rock in the middle of a fast moving stream on a flimsy little tripod, then turned my back on it!!!

Howdy, i would say this could also have been angled down - so you would be seen from below, as if you were a giant contemplating, (see the black and white etchings of mythological figures, such as "The Giant, (sitting) c1818" by the painter Goya on google) at a rivers mouth.

It is a visual trick often used in comics and journalism/PR, to make someone look heroic (look up at them, as a child would a father) or vulnerable if reversed (looking down, as a father may a child).

Depends what you wanted, romantic individual adrift in the world, over whelmed by the sublime landscape or a towering giant, full of power at the waters edge?

Either way, still a good photo as is. Keep working those lens caps dude! :-)
